BUENA VISTA SUNROOMS: Sunroom, skylight, solarium, and repair

sun room design

This sunroom near the beach offers a magnificent ocean view while lounging on the cozy seats set on the hardwood flooring. A large monstera in the corner brings a lovely pop of greenery, and the interior color scheme matches the shoreline perfectly. Truly a magnificent room, though why you wouldn’t be sitting on the beach, I don’t know. The dark rattan seats with cushion seats make this sunroom a great lounging space while overlooking the beautiful garden. With such low windows, one truly feels as though they are sitting outdoors.

All around window framing gives one the perfect view of the wonderfully manicured lawn. Complete with potted plants and a small shelf, this sunroom is nothing but enchanting. Bricked walls, sleek pieces of furniture and neutral colors sum up this farmhouse-style room. Designer Rachel Scheff used the home’s spectacular ceiling, woodwork, and stained glass as the inspirations for her fanciful, flora- and fauna-filled foyer. “It was one of my favorite rooms in the house because it was the one that had the most history preserved, and I wanted to really celebrate that,” she told AD PRO.

You can just imagine a charming bridal shower being through in this room, complete with salmon benedict and mimosas. A tropical type of sunroom incorporated with some detailed chairs, bricked walls, tiled floor and of course, some potted tropical plants. Fun patterned throw pillows bring some extra warmth and funk, with a very unique and modern style fireplace hiding in the back brings even further warmth. A fresh and elegant-looking living room with several glass windows, potted plants and printed throw pillows to match with the atmosphere.

Sunroom Design in Chalet Style

We can definitely imagine ourselves sitting and reading for an afternoon here. If your sunroom resides right alongside your living room, consider it an extra space where your little ones can play. Set up a tiny table and art supplies and watch your little ones bask in the sun. For graphic, attention-grabbing ambiance in your sunroom, take a page from the look of this stunning space, complete with a patterned ceiling and bold throw pillows.

Create a Sunroom Workspace

A great way to add functionality to the space is by converting it into a solarium. This allows you to add heating under the roof and turn it into a much more usable space. In those colder months from October onwards, a sunroom is perfect for those that still want to connect with the outdoors but from the comfort of their own home. You can warmly look out on your beautiful landscape from behind an insulated window. Nothing can make you feel cozier inside than looking out on a frosty landscape and the bitter chill of winter while being indoors all wrapped up and warm.

Colorful Sunroom Design with Classic Vinyl Flooring

Upgrade your WFH space by carving out a brightly lit corner of your sunroom to get down to business. A pop of greenery can go a long way in enhancing the welcoming vibe of a space, and there's nowhere your plant babies will be happier than in a sun-dappled corner. Consider splurging on a few oversized potted trees or top a table with a slew of charming topiaries, as seen here in the Maine sunroom of Loi Thai. Either iteration will do wonders in harnessing that indoor/outdoor feel in your sunroom.

The sunroom design, which includes a jacuzzi, was designed with a very luxurious approach. Also, a corner has been created to watch television in the other part of this sunroom area located at the garden level. If you plan to have a nice relaxing room to read or nap, then your style and features should reflect that.

Couches instead of chairs, shelving instead of tables and fewer window dressings or obstructions. This has more of an 80’s style vibe (which not everyone thinks can be brought back into style) but nevertheless, a charming sunroom all the same. This is the first space that we’ve seen that has been dedicated as an office space! A lovely antique writing desk is contrasted by a leopard print chair. Tropical sunroom looking elegant  with clean plush couches and a vintage rug.

Try window treatments

I’ve personally never seen a more chic and appealing rocking chair — it seems like the perfect place to hang out next to your cats while they play around on their cat tower thing. A large sunroom with stylish built and classy seats along with lovely indoor potted plants surrounding the area. The real appeal lies in the overall design and structure of the windows and framing itself. Opaque windows at the top prevent over-sunning, while sliding windows give you the option to let a breeze in. A modish sunroom with a nice set of sofa and a fireplace along with the TV on top.

The design with a wooden roof in the polygonal form is designed as a seating area in the sunroom. In the space where the furniture has brown-beige outlines, the energy of the space has been increased with colorful cushions. The color selection for the floor and the middle table was in light tones. The sunroom, which is designed completely different from the other parts of the house, uses a concrete-looking gray floor material, while white color is preferred on the walls and window joinery. Also, in the kitchen modern white cabinets paired with a marble countertop.

Then, if you choose the colors and finally the furniture in line with the style you have determined, you can have a sunroom in line with your wishes and your budget. Located in nature, the wooden sunroom is designed for sitting while enjoying nature. While the use of a candle chandelier adds elegance to space, it brings the comfort of the sofa away from the show. A perfectly placed and equipped sunroom with lovely curtains and modish glass doors and windows. You can hardly tell that it’s winter outside with an amazing bouquet of sunflowers, accompanied by 70’s style curtains and a very charming doily-style table cloth.

If your sunroom doesn't boast the view you'd like, simply add one of your own using wallpaper, a mural, or an oversized nature painting. To truly get the most functionality and use out of your sunroom space, try dividing up the room into separate "zones" when working on a layout. A lounge area and dining spot—as seen in this airy space designed by Lauren Shaver of Bless'er House—are the most common delineations, but they're not your only options. You could also set aside room for working out, creating art, or even meditating.
